Delia Villagrasa

Delia is a strategic policy expert with three decades of experience in international and European environmental, climate and energy policy.

At the Global Methane Hub (GMH), she supports the build-out of the European energy strategy and grantmaking in partnership with the global energy team, working closely with the communications team. She works with European GMH partners, policymakers and the wider climate and energy community to support methane mitigation from the energy sector.

Before joining GMH, Delia served as director of the Cool Heating Coalition, an association promoting the decarbonization of heating and cooling. She has led and worked for a variety of organizations and sectors, including NGOs, progressive businesses and philanthropic organizations. She has also worked with governments, supporting Luxembourg and Belgium during their respective EU presidencies on teams responsible for developing the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Paris Agreement and the EU positions needed to achieve it. She has also worked as an independent consultant for clients across Europe and globally.

Delia is Swiss-Spanish and holds a degree in business administration and economics from the University of St. Gallen. She is based in Brussels.

In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
