Anna is an evaluator and strategic learning professional with over 15 years of experience
spanning climate action, public health, and social innovation philanthropy.
At GMH, she leads the organization’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) function,
guiding organizational learning and impact measurement to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic adaptation. She works across GMH’s programs and teams to strengthen measurement frameworks and infrastructure, cultivate a culture of learning, and translate insights into action in order to accelerate organizational impact.
Prior to GMH, Anna served as the Director of Evaluation & Learning at the Skoll Foundation, where she spent nearly a decade guiding the foundation’s efforts to understand and improve the impact of its social and environmental innovation grant portfolios, convenings, and strategy. She was also a member of the foundation’s global climate action team and supported a variety of program-specific and organization-wide strategy efforts.
Earlier in her career, Anna was a MEL and strategy consultant at Strategic Decisions Group and Impact Carbon, partnering with clients in foundations, public-private partnerships, and social enterprises in the US and globally. She also managed occupational health and green business programs at the San Francisco Department of Environment. Anna lived and conducted research in China for several years at the intersection of household energy use, air pollution, and public health.
She holds an M.S. in Global Health & Environment from the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health and a B.A. in Biology with minors in Environmental Studies and Chinese from Kenyon College.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is based in Minneapolis, MN.
