Melissa Denchak

Melissa brings a multifaceted background in communications, development, and publishing to her role at the Global Methane Hub. She spent over a decade as a writer and editor at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where she collaborated with communications, development, and program teams to advance climate and environmental solutions through compelling storytelling and strategic
advocacy. She has also held editorial roles at U.S. magazines such as Departures, Fine Cooking, Black Ink, and Food & Wine. Earlier in her career, Melissa served as a small business development volunteer with the Peace Corps in Paraguay. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Lawrence University and is based in Lyon, France.
