Valeria is a finance leader with over two decades of experience in climate philanthropy, international organisations, and the public sector.
At the Global Methane Hub, she leads financial planning, systems implementation, and operational finance in support of the organisation’s global programs. She works closely with leadership and program teams to ensure financial clarity, resilience, and alignment with strategic goals and values.
Previously, she served as Finance Director at the European Climate Foundation, where she led financial strategy, grants and finance management, accounting and audit oversight, treasury management, and the implementation of enterprise finance systems.
Valeria holds an MBA in Finance Management and a certificate in International Public Sector Financial Reporting (CIPFA).
Originally from Bulgaria, the Netherlands is now her home. In her free time, she practices yoga and pilates, enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, and cycles whenever possible.
