Tao brings a strong background in philanthropy and climate policy, with extensive experience managing grants and building partnerships in China and internationally. Prior to joining GMH, he served as Senior Program Associate at Energy Foundation China, where he managed initiatives on zero-carbon industrial transitions and green supply chains. With a global outlook rooted in regional expertise, Tao has designed and led cross-border collaborations, creating inclusive platforms that connect policymakers, funders, technical experts, and local stakeholders to drive collective climate action.
Tao holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Sustainable Development from the University of Milan, and a Master’s degree in Sociology of Law from the University of the Basque Country.
